Whether its your first time on a board or already a keen SUP'er we offer training in a friendly club environment using WSA (Water Skills Academy) qualified instructors running courses for all abilities.
Social SUP & Windsurf - Friday nights late April to mid-September where likeminded windsurfers and SUP'ers meet from 6pm to chat and get out on the water, hopefully finishing off in the bar.
This is the perfect opportunity to meet and make friends with fellow club windsurfers & SUP'ers, share skills, and build confidence with new manoeuvres.
SUP Introduction & Improver
This course is aimed at complete beginners or those who have had a taster session, where you will be shown the basic skills through to improving your paddle stroke, turning techniques and safety considerations.
Duration: Half Day, 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm
Pre-Course Experience: None
Course Content: You will be shown how get on/off your board, how set & use a paddle, ways to turn, self-rescuing techniques and safety information.
Course Objectives: Able to SUP on flatwater knowing the limitations of yourself, conditions, and location to ensure your safety.
