Dinghies can be hired for as little as £15 - £25 per day
CONDITIONS OF HIRE
Hire is only available to members of The Chase Sailing Club. Non members are not eligible to hire any of the club dinghies.
The hirer may be required to prove his/her ability to sail the dinghy being hired beforethe hire agreement is completed.
The hirer will be held responsible for any damage or loss caused to the equipment
Hire is not transferable. The person taking out the hire must be present in the dinghy on each occasion it is in use. If two or more persons hire a boat one of the hirersmust be present in the dinghy on each occasion it is in use.
The dinghy can only be sailed at Chasewater.
Apart from the purpose of sailing on Chasewater the dinghy must not be removed from the club compound.
The dinghy must only be sailed when a safety boat is manned and on the water.
The dinghy must not be used when the wind strength is above force 4.
Life jackets must be worn when sailing the dinghy.
Club dinghies can be used for club racing but must not be used to take part in open meetings or any other events.
No responsibility will be taken by The Chase Sailing Club for any injury, loss or damage caused as a direct or indirect result of the hire or use of the dinghy.
The club reserves the right to terminate the hire of any dinghy if in the opinion of an Officer of the club it is being used inappropriately or if any of the above conditions are breached. This will have immediate effect.
